- If a person has a sore eye he gets the tealeaves that are left after the tea, and puts them to it. First, the eye is washed, and then the tealeaves are put to it, with a bandage.
- If you have a sty in your eye,the old people say it will be better by looking out through a gold ring. After looking through the ring then make a sign of the cross three times over(continues on next page)
