  1. There is a house on the Templemore Road which was at one time owned by a family named Mahers. It is said to be haunted. They were troubled by strange noises in the house. They only heard these noises at nighttime. They could never find out the cause. Finally they decided to sell the house and all its contents.
    Having sold the house there was an auction held for the furniture. The people of the neighborhood all came to it. No one knew why the Mahers were leaving their home. All the farm implements and all
