    A cure for an ear-ache is to get an onion and cut it get the heart of it and put it in your ear. I did this and it cured the ache.
    A cure for a cold is to get two get two tea-spoonfulls of blackcurrant jam mixed with hot water and sugar and drink it before going to bed.
    A cure for a sore throat is to get a rusty nail and boil it in water, when it is boiled drink the juice, this is said to have cured many people. A cure for the measles is to mix sulphur and magnesia and take it.
    A cure for toothache is to get a piece of cotton wool soaked in iodine and put it into your tooth.
    A cure for whooping cough is to roll the person in
