    The name of my home district is Baltray. Baltray got its name from the Gaelig "Baiel na Tráighe" - the town of the strand. it is so called because it is a village beside the sea.
    Baltray is situated on the north bank of the river Boyne. It is about three miles from Drogheda. It is Termonfeckin parish
