  1. The people say there is a gold coffin hidden in Bective Abbey. It is said that an old man named Andy Gossan who lived in Bective, knew where it was buried
When Andy was dying he told the secret to his old sister, Ann, and when she was dying, she told the secret to a priest named Father Morrissy who was Parish Priest in Kilmessan, but he didn't tell anybody the secret, and he is dead now.
He died in the year 1927. Aged 86.
