- A person suffering from sore eyes should get a cup of cold tea and rub it on the eyes. This is supposes to cure sore eyes on the spot.
- Long ago a person suffering from a cut used to get a cob-web and put it on the cut. This stops the blood and also helps to heal the wound.
- A cure is if there is an old man named Welsh and if he pricked your finger and rub some blood on the wild fire. This is said to be a very good cure.
