    Oh Good Jesus on this day
    On Good Friday we will say
    The Jews came up with spear so sharp
    To pierce Our Saviour's tender heart
    His Blessed Mother standing by
    With a pitiful look and mournful cry
    Whoever says this prayer ? times by day or night
    Shall never die in mortal sin
    Or hell shall never enter in.
