  1. The bread that people used to make long ago is oaten bread wheaten and rye bread. The people long ago, only used water for the cakes. The people now use milk and salt and soda for the cakes. All the people long ago used to make hard oaten cakes and would not eat them for a week or more they used to take no tae long ago only milk and water. They used to eat porridge and all sorts of food. People now a days make no hard oaten of they make cakes with flour and wheaten meal.
