  1. In olden times people used oaten bread and wheaten bread. It was baked by the side of the fire standing against a three leged stool.
    They baked stoves of bread and left them in a box. They made and baked the bread the same as we do to-day. They made potato bread also.
    They made it by peeling boiled potatoes and put them in a basin and bruze them up.
    Then put salt on them. Flour is put on a board and roll them with a rolling pin.
    Then they would roll it until they got it round and then cut
