  1. Lazy Mary is played in the following way. A large number of children catch hands and make a circle.
    Then one child stoops in the middle of the circle and the other girls walk around her singing.
    "Lazy Mary will you get up will you get up will you get up Lazy Mary will you get up to be one two three." Then the girl replies
    "No Mother I wont get up I wont get up I wont get up no mother I wont get up to be one two three. The other children answer - I will buy a man with rosy cheeks with rosy cheeks with rosy cheeks I will buy a man with with rosy cheeks to be one two three. The she says "Yes Mother I will get up I will get up I will get up Yes Mother I will get up to be one two three."
    Then she gets up and runs away and the children follow her saying "Ah ba you had to get up you had to get up you had to get up Ah ba you had to get up to be one two three" Then the game is finished.
