One night Mrs Markaham went to Cree with her husband as he was going to a fair in Kilmilhil with cattle.

One night Mrs Markaham went to Cree with her husband as he was going to a fair in Kilmilhil with cattle. When she was coming home she saw something as small as a kitten on the side of the side of the road. She stood near it and saw it was beginning to grow bigger to grow by degrees. It stayed growing until it was as big as a sheep. At last she got her courage and ran out past it and stayed running until she arrived home.
