  1. Long ago people had no food lik they have now. The people used to have potatoes and porridge every day. It is said that a man lived for 104 years on potatoes and water. Long ago, when the landlords were driving the people out of their land, they would get up in the middle of the night and drive their cattle out the mountains and give them hay there for a few days. They would take a bag of meal and a pot. They made a fire of sticks and boiled
