  1. To cure "Pharsey" in horses. There was a man in Camross that could cure it. The first thing he used to do was to make a ring of stones and turn around until he'd get the wind to his back. Then he'd walk nine times around the ring, and stop at each point of the compass and say a prayer, and shake Holy Water on the horse.
Another way a man in Camross had for doing it was to place Nine Stones in a ring around. He'd put the horse walking outside the ring, and the man himself would walk inside. He'd stop at every stone and shake Holy Water and say a prayer. He'd stop the horse while he'd be doing that.
