  1. About thirty years ago there was a very good swimmer named Tommy Ward. He used to swim across from Caramore lake to Manulla. One day - there was a man named Willie Bourke out swimming. He was not a very good swimmer and he was in great danger of being drowned.
    Tommy Ward saw him and jumped into the lake and brought Willie to land. This lake was about three miles in length.
    I got the above information from my Aunt.
