  1. It is a small village about three miles from Robeen chapel. It is called Kiltrone because long ago there was an old church in the village and its ruins are to be seen in it to day and that is how it got its name. There (wan) was an old bell found down in the ground about fifty yards away from the church but no body ever took it because the person that found the bell said that there were fairies next the place where it was found.
