Another story is told of a lady named Peggy Johnson who lived half a mile from my home. When she was five years of age she went to Sunday School for the first time. She came home full of excitement, saying to her mother "Mummy we learned a new hymn to-day. It is all about the shepherds washing day". Her mother said to her "Have you dear? What is it?"
Peggy began to sing in her little piping voice
While shepherds washed their frocks by night
    All seated on the ground.
Peggy then said "Mummy what did the shepherds wash them with".
