  1. Mr Bovard of Buncrana used to live in Fahan, in Walker's old house at Carrick. He lived there about thirty years ago. He was a tailor. He only stayed for about three months. The people supplied the cloth. The implements he used were a sewing machine, a tape line, a pressing iron, and a pair scissors.
    There was another tailor whose name was William McLaughlin. He had a house where Mr Sam Garrow's house is now. He was called the Fly for a nickname. He lived about eighty years ago. He sewed all with his hand and generally made everything
