  1. The marriage customs nowadays are not the same as the marriage customs of long ago. Long ago when there would be a marriage the people would buy a lot of drink and all the neighbours from around would gather in and have a wedding. Boys from around would dress up in straw and come to the wedding. These were called straw boys. After the marriage the married couple would come to the brides home and have breakfast. After the breakfast they would go for a long drive. When they would return they would go to the groom's home and have supper. After
