    When the children were ill with the chin cough they would get a teaspoonful of ferret's milk. When they had the thrush they would take the gander in the morning fasting and put his beak back into their throats so that they would inhale the gander's breath. When a thorn stuck in a person's hand or foot a fox's tongue was placed on it, and that drew it out.
