    The shores of Lough Bran
N.b. The above song was composed by a Mr. Hill about another man called "Brock" who lived beside Lough Bran and worked there in a mill. The remain of his dwelling house and of the mill may still be seen on the shores of the lake as one travels on the main road from Leitrim to Carrick-on-Shannon. Mr Hill lived in County Roscommon just outside Carrick-on-Shannon.
