    You should always stop the clock when a person is dead in the house.
    Every time you shiver someone walks over your grave.
    A tinker is dead when a donkey is roaring.

    If you saw a peacock's feather on the road you should pick it up. If you did not, someone would die in your family.
    To hear a cock crowing is a warning for death.
    If you heard a lonesome cry (Bean Sidhe) there would be someone dead in your family.
    If a corpse doesn't stiffen, 'tis a sign of another death in the house.
    If you died during the 12 days of Christmas, you'ld go straight to heaven.
    Green fields in Winter make rich churchyards.
    A person cannot die in a bed that has "Royalty" (i. e. anything belonging to the Government) in it.
