    dress up in old tattered clothes, and vizards, and go around frightening the people. They also take gates, and leave them down beside the river, and such places. When they think that the people are in bed, they let off rockets and fireworks, in order to arouse them.
    The children and younger people are warned by their grandmothers not to throw out water, on Hallow E'en as it would be an insult to the Holy Souls.
