  1. The Foul Mouth.
    This is cured by a person that never saw his father. The cure blesses him self, and breathes into the sick person's mouth. If the person is not cured the first time the cure can be repeated several times. The Stye in the eye.
    This can be cured by getting nine goose-berry, thorns and pointing each thorn at the Stye saying Stye, Stye go away or I will stick you.
    The cures of the Mumps.
    The person that is curing the mumps puts a pair of donkeys winkers on the sick person's head, and the curer blesses himself and says one Our Father and one Hail Mary, and drive the sick person in and out of the pig - sty three times each day for three days.
    The Whooping Cough.
    The person that has the whooping cough is to get a drink of water each day for three days out of a well running between two counties.
