  1. The following is a story told to Michael Hughes by his father Denis Hughes, Drumhaughly. age 60 years.
    He said that Robert Campbell of Cullyfad who is still living got the loan of an ass from a neighbour one day and on his way home with the ass he had to cross a river.
    When he came to it the ass would not cross it.
    He took him up in his arms and walked across the river with him and he brought him back the same way.
