    teacher's name was Johanna Curran. She taught in her own house. She taught Reading Writing and Arithmetic. There was about forty pupils attending. When they were reading they had no books.

  2. There was school taught down in Coorduff some years ago. There was a man named Peter Roche teaching in it. The way this man got paid for his time was that the children had to bring him two-pence per week. to him.
