  1. There are no wooden ploughs used on farms near here now, but there used to be about forty years ago. A farmer named Michael Donoghue, who lives in Ballyglass, Dysart, has an old one in the barn yet. He does not use it.
    Ploughs, shovels, and spades are bought in the shop. Each man sows his own potatoes. If he gets help he pays wages to the man who helps him.
