“When Mrs Ronan was dying, over near Glanworth...”
When Mrs. Ronan was dying, over near Glanworth; Mrs Barry,her daughter was over that night at Moll Suit's (Moll Connors) house. Stephen, her husband, was b the fire at home with five or six of the children and he minding them. A knock came to the door and he went out; and there was no wan there. After awhile it came again, and he went to the door and he saw one wan. It came the third time and he could see nothing. After a while Mrs. Barry came in home; and when she was coming in the gate she saw the shadow of a woman walking all around the house, and just when she came in the terrible cry started and went all around the home. Next morning they had word that her mother was dead in Glanworth. That's a fact she told me that herself.(no title)
