   (Did you ever meet the devil, Johny?) I did, and worked with him. Jack the devil, of Taghmon, drove Browne's Hearse for years, and his son Pat drove it after him. (Jack Furlong was his right name - but he was always called Jack the Devil) Jack the Devil drove Browne's hearse and Savage drove the carriage. The quarest names in the world were in Taghmon wan time. Thre was wan street of Sythes, Swords and Savages and another street with Codds Rodgers and Tooles. They all lived in Taghmon wan time but they are all dead & gone now.
