  2. When the bow is heard they say that she is some member of the families that is lost - she is some wan related to 'em & she is damned. That's what the bow is supposed to be.
    Other people say that she is a fallen angel going around lamenting over people going to die.
    She follows a lot of people around here anyway. When any of our family (Carroll) are going to die 'tis black ravens are seen on the house.
