  1. There once a Catholic and a Protestant lived somewhere in Wexford near each other. They were very friendly and wherever one of them was the other was. Although they were very neighbourly they were always disputing about religion. One day they said to each other that whichever of them would die first would come back and tell the other which of them was right. All went well and good, both of them lived to be very old, and remained friendly with each other all the time.
    One day the Protestant sent for the Catholic to come quickly as he was dying. The Catholic
