    all around the king's palace, about twenty feet high, and there was no way of getting into the palace except by getting over this wall. But the brown horse was a great jumper. Jack set him at the wall and he struck it about half-ways. "Begor" says Jack "I'm afraid you'll never manage it" "Oh never you fear" says the brown horse. So Jack set him at it again and he went to the very top of it, but fell back again. Jack set him at it again and he went over it. When they came up to the palace they found it guarded all around by soldiers. Jack drove right up to them. He was asked what was his business, and he told them he met the king on the road, and had got permission from him to come to the palace
