    So Jack and the brown horse started off and they travelled for seven weeks and one day and at last they came to the Red sea. There was a frightful storm blowing, and Jack and the brown horse looked at each other and didnt know what to do. The brown horse kept looking at the tide and found it was coming in. He then told Jack to make a wall of sand three feet high on the strand twenty yards from the incoming tide. He told him he then that he was going to look for the mare himself, and also told him not to let any of the water over the wall of sand for if he did he would never come back with the red mare, or would never come back himself.
