   until the entire is taken, which with the 6th turn, if the patient shakes every day it must be taken when the fit is off, but if on every second day, begin on the well day early in the morning washing it down with a spoonful of whey or plain water.

2. Local Cure for the Ague

   Take the white of an egg and beat it up in a pint of white wine vinegar and about the time the shaking fit is approaching you take this off and it will operate greatly and prove a better cure than the Jesuits' bark.
