    2. There is a weed that grows in old gardens called "mint." This weed gives out a very strong perfume and if a person suffering from a headache inhales it it is said to cure it.
    Swollen Limbs
    1. Are bathed in water in which potatoes have been boiled.
    2. chickweed is heatedin a pan and then put whilst very hot on the swollen part.
    Whitlows and Sores
    The leaf of the dead nettle is put on the "draw" and heal the sores.
    Sore Mouth
    A posthumous son or daughter is supposed to have a cure for a sore mouth. They breathe on the sore and this is supposed to cure it.
    Ring Worm.
    The seventh son is supposed to have a cure for ring worm. He rubs his fingers on the sore
