knocks at the door and says. "Here comes the captain and his men if he is not welcome he is not [?] going in" The man of the house then opens the door and bids them welcome. If he fails to welcome them they do not go in.
When inside they are given food and drink. Then they dance a "set". The "captain" dances with the bride. When the dance is over, those who sing are asked by the captain to do so. He calls on them by number which is given to them before-hand so that those present do not hear their names.
After a while they wish the young couple "good luck" and go away quietly.
