    Ginger Joe is a little girl who is supposed to be ill. Her mother is with her. The mother sits on a stone and Ginger Joe sits on her knees. The remainder of the children catch hands and come to see the sick girl. They sing the following song-
    "We've come to see Ginger Joe
    " "

    How is she now"?
    Her mother sings in answer giving some excuse.
    Ginger Joe is washing clothes.
    " "
    " "
    " " " " " "
    you can't see her now."
    The children go a few paces back and then come forward. They sing the same song. Her mother sings: -
