    There was a landlord who had a herd working for him.

    out of the house and they would be in he waves of the world.
    He said he would give them until the next day to make up their minds, whither they'd sell him the child or not.
    The next day the landlord came again, and he asked them had they their mind's made up. The herd and his wife said that they were five year's married, and as they had but one child, that it would be a hard case for them to sell him, and it would be a hard case to be turned out, and they had made up their mind's to sell him, as the landlord had promised to rare him well. He gave them £150 and he took the child with him.
