- In the year 1928 a great storm arose one night. There was a mission held in the half Parish of Crimlin. There were stalls at the chapel, and when the storm arose, the people did not know what to do; the stalls were blown away and a lot of the articles were lost and blown away.
The people that were far from home, had to wait near the Church until the storm ceased.
There were slates blown off houses, some cocks of hay were knocked, and a lot of other damage was done round the place. But towards morning(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
