    with every sheaf. In the evening he has a lot of straw in the corner of the stable. He takes out a few big bundles and he ties them. When my father has done with the threshing machine he gathers up all the straw and he puts it into stacks and he thatches the house with some of it. He puts the oats and the chaff into bags andd he puts them into the stable and he waits until a rough day comes. When a rough day comes he goes to the top of a hill and he brings a sheet to a riddle and the the bags of oats. He puts the sheet on the ground and he opens the bags. When he starts winnowing the oats the chaff goes with the wind and the clean grains fall on the brat. When he has finished in the evening he gathers up all the clean seed and
