    a lot of mosquitos about, it will rain. On wet days, when the sky lark comes out and sings, it is a sign that it will clear.
    Lakes.
    The lakes turn dark when going to rain. When the lake is full up, we will have bad weather.
    Smoke.
    The smoke comes back down the chimney when it is going to rain. When you see a blue
    flame in the fire, it will rain.
    rheumatism.
    People with rheumatism get bad, when we are going to have rain. The air gets warm and close, and some individuals get a stinging pain over the eye, when thunder is coming.
