- (continued from previous page)have a wedding. Boys come to the house. They are called “Wholpers or straw boys”. If they get drink they will not do any damage. If they do not get drink they would be very vexed. They would go into the garden and knock stacks of oats. That is an ugly trick to do.
Sometimes the man and the Bride go to the sea or to the very big cities on their honeymoon. Then they have a great time. They stay there for a week. Sometimes they stay for a fortnight.
The very rich people stay for a long time. They go on an aeroplane and fly far away.
