districts seem to have different names for the same variety of potatoe. In this district white roses Arann Banners Epicures Flounders and Up to Dates are the very earliest varieties grown. In addition to these early varieties Champions Kerr Pinks queens and Blight Resisters are extensively grown. Kerr Pinks Champions and queens seem to be the types best suited for this district.
