  1. Ballyheragh is my native village. It is also my townland. It is in the barony of Kilmaine and in the parish of Kilcommon.
    There are ten houses in the village. They are callled, Lynskeys, Mangans, Tierneys, King's, Hessions, Flanagans, Quinns, O'Neills, Flanagaans, and Nolans. Flanagans is the most common. There are three houses slated, and seven thatched.
    There are four old people in the village. Two men, and two women. They are now getting the pension. They sometimes speak Irish.
