    sixpence on cows and twopence on calves. When animals are sold lucks money is given. When the person is paid for his stock he gives to the purchaser lucks money which varies from half crown to a crown. When a bargain is made hands are struck together in order to show that the bargain is made. When an animal is sold they are marked with mud. When cattle are sold the halter is kept by the seller.
