    When the stalks are growing they are sprayed a few times to prevent the blight from coming on them. The names of the potatoes that are sown in this district are champions, queens, dates, Kerry pinks, epicures, great scots, aran banners, aran victors, flounders, sharp-express, and Irish whites. the best potato that grows in this district is the queen.
    Wooden ploughs were used once in my district in former days, but none of them are in existence now. In Autumn the potatoes are dug with
