    would say it with them. He knelt down near the back door and as the Rosary was going on he quietly opened it unnoticed by all owing to the darkness. His next movement was to throw some sods of turf out the door and this kept on until the Rosary was finished and he shut the door.
    He went out, got the turf and went home. Every night he went to a different house and there he did the same thing so that he was not short of turf during that winter.
