people that were killed in this glen the place was called Gleann Daoine Marbh. People are often frightened when passing through this place late at night and it is supposed that the tinkers are sometimes seen here again fighting as they were that night. Sometimes the shape of a coffin too is supposed to be seen in the middle of the road.
