    English man what he would charge for as much tobacco as would reach from the top of his head to the top of his toe. The English man said 'ten shillings'. So they made the contract. The dealer then said, 'well the top of my toe is in the West of Ireland and the top of my head is here'. The English man almost fainted, when he heard that. Daniel O'Connell was there to witness the contract, so they made a settlement for three thousand pounds.
