    grew around it on sod fences. They are only a few of these bushes left now.
    Garraidhe na leachta = In this field there are heaps of stones which were probably gathered there loing ago.
    Sraith = Is a marshy field. There is a Bóithrín leading to this field called "sraith bóithrín".
    Lisín Currach = is a hard rocky field. That is the reason is got the name Lisín Currach". But there is no "lios" in it.
    Machaire = is the largest field in our farm. It is a long flat field and therefore it got its name Machaire.
    Garraidhe na h-aibhne = is a marshy field. it is on the banks of the river Triomóg and from that river it got its name "garraidhe na h-aibhne.
    Sraith Phortaigh = is another marshy field. It is probably that turf was cut there long ago.
