much news from the convent, One night her mother asked her to tell a tale.
"Do not say tale, mother. Say narrative," said her daughter, On another occasion her mother told her to put out the light. "Do not say put out the light mother. Say extinguish the light", said her daughter.
The girl had a party for her pals, and while the party was going on there was great noise in the kitchen. The girl's mother went up to the kitchen, and when she went into the room again her daughter asked her what was wrong, and she said:-
"The pig came into the house, the dog caught him by the narrative, and I went up to extinguish them."
